A toothbrush and three pairs of knickers
A wave of nervousness came over me as 4 o'clock approached today...my last day at work for 6 weeks. I leave from Harrogate train station at 13:14 on Saturday; less than two days' time. The little tiny rucksack is prepared for the off; packed and unpacked, and packed and unpacked, and packed and unpacked again to ensure everything fits. Its current state is unpacked and the contents are strewn in a small heap on the floor. I look at the things around me in the cottage, and then I look at this modest bundle that will see me through the next six weeks; how little we really need to live. This takes 'travelling light' further than I have taken it before. My only luxury is a pair of dance shoes.
