Decisions to make
Mongolia is a couple of weeks away. I need to get out of the city. Cities are a part of travel, a hub for transport links, history, people, culture, however I crave remoteness, countryside, family life. I have been offered two trips in Mongolia through different tour companies and I am stuck as to which to choose. I want to put money directly into the Mongolian economy, and both seem to offer this. One is very wild, heading out into the wild camping with translator and 4x4, horse hire, at $250 a day. The other is staying with a family with English speaking guide and horse hire for $860 for 8 days. Safety, relative comfort, and seeing the rural Mongolia ... I don't know which to choose. What more should I be asking?
