Getting in to hot water

31st October 2009

Red Square at night is beautiful. It is a take-your-breath-away scene. Lit up like a Christmas tree and surrounded by exquisite architecture. Tomorrow I will visit it in the daylight, in the snow, as I have other plans for this evening.

I spend the evening at the Sandunoskiye Baths afloat between women supporting Gucci, Louis Vitton and Chanel (my walking boots and 'Save our donkeys' carrier bag are in a locker) and I enjoy every sweat dripping, massaging, opulent moment of it. It is like enjoying your favourite desert and licking your fingers afterwards. Delicious. I sweat, plunge (the second take-your-breath-away moment of today), am scrubbed, and washed down.

I love Moscow.
